Hypertension (either alone or with other antihypertensive agents such as thiazide diuretics). Premature ventricular contractions.
Contraindications:
Severe, persistent bradycardia.
Special Concerns:
Dosage not established in children.

Kinectics:
t1/2: 3-4 hr. Low lipid solubility. Duration: 24-30 hr. Metabolized in liver and excreted in urine and bile. Fifteen to 20% excreted unchanged.<
